PL

Przez ponad sześćdziesiąt lat sojusz północnoatlantycki zdawał pomyślnie egzamin w sferze bezpieczeństwa międzynarodowego. Mimo znaczących zmian, jakie miały miejsce w ostatnim dziesięcioleciu XX wieku, przeorientował swoją politykę milttarną. Kolejnym sprawdzianem jego funkcjonowania jest operacja w Afganistanie. To nowe wyzwanie na arenie międzynarodowej - walka z terroryzmem, wymusiło zmianę paradygmatu działania międzynarodowych sil zbrojnych. W strategii NATO można wyróżnić pięć priorytetów, które przekładają się na konkretne zadania. Ponieważ Polska Jest członkiem NATO, zmiany w sojuszu wpływają również na strategiczne przeznaczenie sil zbrojnych RP.

For over sixty years, the North Atlantic Alliance has been passing its exams in International security. Despite significant changes that took place in the last decade of the 20th century, NATO reoriented its military policy. An operation in Afghanistan is another test for it; a new International challenge - the war on terrorism - enforced the paradigm shift in operations of the International armed forces. In the NATO's strategy, there are five priorities which interpret into specific tasks. As Poland is a member of NATO, any changes in the Alliance affect the strategie assignment of the Polish forces.
