The paper presents new trends and directions of development of the Smart Grid. The communication-oriented network model is discussed in the context of the well known the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) model and the similarity of the EM to the dynamic virtual organizations activities. Also an aspect of intelligent agents for the consumers needs has been discussed. The paper is the result of reflections on the author's participation in the following conference: SmartGridComm in 2011, in Brussels organized by the IEEE.

Artykuł prezentuje nowe trendy i kierunki rozwoju dla SmartGrid. Model komunikacyjno- zorientowanej sieci jest omawiany w kontekście modelu proponowanego przez NIST i podobieństwa budowanego rynku energii do działania wirtualnych organizacji. Poruszono także aspekt inteligentnych agentów dla realizacji potrzeb użytkownika końcowego. Artykuł jest wynikiem przemyśleń po uczestnictwie autora w konferencji SmartGridComm w 2011r. w Brukseli organizowanej przez IEEE.
