Celem artykułu jest wykazanie, że idea zrównoważonego rozwoju transportu traktowana jest w polskiej polityce transportowej dość wybiórczo. Czasami jest eksponowany aspekt ekonomiczny, czasami ekologiczny (bądź tylko jakaś jego wybrany element), rzadko społeczny, a trudno znaleźć przykład równego traktowania wszystkich trzech aspektów zrównoważonego rozwoju. Analiza przeprowadzona została na przykładzie problemów rozwoju transportu wodnego śródlądowego oraz kolei dużych prędkości.

The purpose of this article is to demonstrate that the idea of sustainable transport is treated in the Polish transport policy rather selectively. Sometimes there is exposed the economic aspect, sometimes ecological (or only some of its selected aspects), rarely social, and it is difficult to find an example of equitable treatment of all three sustainability criteria. The analysis will be carried out on the example of the problems of development of inland water transport and high-speed rail.
