Abstrakty
Non-formal education provides opportunities for skills development among students, employees and individuals who are currently seeking employment. The main objectives of the current study were to examine the participation rates of adults in non-formal education programs in Romania and identify variables associated with the participation rates of adults in these non-formal education programs. The research method applied was correlative analyses based on the Romania National Institute for Statistics databases. The data was analyzed using Jeffreys' Amazing Statistics Program (JASP). Correlations between specific variables (ex.: field of work, urban or rural environments, etc.) and high participation rates of adults in non-formal education programs were identified. The study’s novelty lies in its identification of the key success factors of non-formal training programs based on the variables considered in the research process. The results of this research are particularly useful for policymakers in the fields of educational management, as well as for managers from private and public organizations.
