Abstrakty
Research, the results of which are presented in this paper, was conducted by the choice experiment (CE) method on a sample group of 120 students from the Faculty of Economic Sciences of Warsaw University. Due to the fact that the group was not numerous and limited only to students, the project should be re-garded as pilot research. The main objective of this paper, besides estimating the average readiness to pay for public projects reducing the number of premature deaths, is the presentation of the choice experiment method which, as yet, has not been applied in Poland for valuation of non-market goods.
