Abstrakty
Katastrofy mostów mimo nierzadko tragicznych skutków w postaci ofiar śmiertelnych i osób rannych, a także zniszczeń materialnych, często o dużej skali, stanowią jednocześnie asumpt do rozwoju wiedzy budowlanej. Dzieje się tak dlatego, że poszukiwanie przyczyn i analizowanie skutków katastrof umożliwia poznanie nowych zagadnień naukowych lub technicznych bądź też uściślenie i rozszerzenie zakresu zagadnień już znanych, ale jeszcze nie w sposób wystarczająco kompletny.
