Automatic monitoring system for cardiology based on professional relationships of human experts
Języki publikacji
Abstrakty
This paper introduces a concept of a distributed system for heart activity with unconstrained distance between the patient and the supervising center. The proposed approach features an optimum use of wireless channels through the adaptation of connection frequency and through a selective and prioritized transmission of diagnostic data. Adaptation of connection parameters to the current patient status, diagnostic goals and technical conditions in the wireless network is based on the medical interpretation of the ECG performed automatically. Selected adaptation rules are justified by professional relations between human experts in cardiology well established in medical practice, and take account of medical standards promoted by international societies of cardiology.
