Artykuł jest kontynuacją artykułu z nr. 4/2015. W Pierwszej części przedstawiono uwarunkowania i wyniki działalności transportu samochodowego w Mołdawii. Ta część porusza zagadnienia podstawowej suprastruktury transportu samochodowego oraz jego współczynniki demograficzne i infrastrukturalne.

Road transport plays a very important role in the economy of Moldova. During the analyzed decade the share of this mode of transport in the transportation of goods and transport performance significantly increased, making road transport in this period the dominant mode of transport. Despite years of neglect of investment in terms of expansion and ongoing maintenance of linear and nodal infrastructure, freight road transport managed to resist the unfavorable economic phenomena and even a number of transport investments were completed in the discussed period, which allowed for the implementation of transport in a more efficient manner. The increase of the role of this mode of transport was possible mainly due to private companies operating on the market. The observed changes allow to assume that the freight road transport will continue to grow even though the dynamics of this development can have a various course.
