Artykuł bazuje na standardzie PMI® (Project Management Institute), w którym opisana jest metoda wartości wypracowanej, jako jedna z technik używanych do kontroli postępu realizacji projektu. Artykuł rozpoczyna krótkie wprowadzenie, po czym następuje przedstawienie metody wartości wypracowanej na tle procesów zarządzania projektami w metodyce PMI®. Dalej przedstawione zostały podstawowe elementy metody wartości wypracowanej używane do szacowania postępu realizacji projektu, podstawowe formuły niezbędne do analizy harmonogramu i kosztów projektu oraz prognozowania jego zakończenia. Artykuł kończy opis zasad praktycznego korzystania z metody wartości wypracowanej, jak również propozycja standardu raportowania. Przedstawiono tutaj również problemy związane z korzystaniem z metody wartości wypracowanej. Artykuł zawiera przykład użycia metody wartości wypracowanej do kontroli postępu realizacji przykładowego projektu.

The article is based on the PMI® (Project Management Institute) standard, in which the Earned Value Method is described, as one of the techniques used to control the progress of the project work performed. The article starts with a brief introduction, followed by a presentation of the Earned Value Method on the background of project management processes in PMI® methodology. Then are presented the basic elements of Earned Value Methods used for the progress of the project work performed estimation, the basic formulas necessary to analyze the schedule and project costs and forecasting the project completion. The article ends with a description of the principles of the practical use of the Earned Value Method, as well as the proposed reporting standard. Presented here are also problems associated with the Earned Value Method using. The article contains an example of using the Earned Value Method to control the progress of the project work performed for a sample project.
