Calculation of the magnetic field produced at any point by a conductor that is not a straight line is complex. In the study the magnetic flux densities above the earth surface produced by underground cables of complex geometry are estimated. The cable is divided into a series of small straight-line segments. The MatLab computer program is developed to model the magnetic field produced by the current paths of any shape. The result of the computation is verified by comparison with the result of calculation using the analytical solution.
