Świat ulega nieustannym przemianom. Od czasu Rewolucji Przemysłowej społeczeństwo przeszło wiele transformacji natury ekonomicznej, kulturowej, czy demograficznej. Architektura mieszkaniowa, aby wypełniać służebną rolę wobec społeczności, musi uświadomić sobie głębokość tych przemian i ich przemożny wpływ na potrzeby i oczekiwania użytkowników wobec mieszkań czy domów.

The world is changing constantly. Since the time of the Industrial Revolution society has undergone many transformations of an economic, cultural and demographical nature. Residential architecture, to fulfill its role as a servant to the society, has to realize the depth of these changes and their overwhelming influence on the needs and expectations of the dwellings' users.
