Traktując komponentę informatyczną jako integralny składnik infrastruktury technicznej gminy oraz czynnik wpływający na jej oblicze cywilizacyjne, przeprowadzono analizę możliwych scenariuszy wpływu technologii informatycznych na rozwój gminy.

The paper analyses possible scenarios of influence that IT (Information Technology) imposes on the commune in present and the near future. We consider IT component of the commune’s infrastructure as the structural part of the whole system. We try to ask what will be the impact of IT on commune’s technology as well as on the social life in the commune of future.
