W czasie panującej pandemii zakłady radiologii opracowały standardy i zalecenia postępowania z chorymi na COVID-19 m.in. w pracowniach RTG i TK. Organizacja pracy i badania MR w dobie pandemii są niezwykle trudnym zadaniem dla personelu zakładów diagnostyki obrazowej. American College of Radiology oraz Polskie Lekarskie Towarzystwo Radiologiczne w przypadku pacjentów z aktywną infekcją COVID-19 i osób podejrzanych zaleca zminimalizowanie wykonywania badań MR, chyba że jest to absolutnie konieczne w ich diagnostyce. Ponadto dezynfekcja oraz dekontaminacja pomieszczeń oraz skanera MR jest niezwykle trudna oraz może stwarzać dodatkowe r yzyko zakażenia zarówno dla innych pacjentów, jak i personelu pracowni. Na podstawie dostępnych publikacji oraz doświadczenia z własnego ośrodka poniżej skonstruowano wskazówki dla personelu dotyczące postępowania z pacjentem z potwierdzonym wynikiem COVID-19 w pracowniach MR.

During the prevailing pandemic, radiology departments have developed standards and recommendations for the management of COVID-19 patients, for example, in X-ray and CT departments. Organising workflow and MR examinations in the era of the pandemic is an extremely difficult task for staff in diagnostic imaging departments. The American College of Radiology and the Polish Medical Society of Radiology in the case of patients with active COVID-19 infection and suspected cases recommend minimizing MR examination unless absolutely necessary for their diagnosis. In addition, disinfection and decontamination of the room and MR scanner is extremely difficult and may pose an additional risk of infection to other patients and laboratory staff. Based on the available publications and on the experience of our own centre, the following guidelines for staff on the management of patients with a confirmed COVID-19 result in MR labs have been constructed.
