In the work the measurements of the complex permittivity and permeability of powdered nanocrystalline Fe-Si-B-Cu-Nb have been presented. Electromagnetic properties are important to design effective absorbers operating in the microwave freqt Measurements were realized in the coaxial line with the use of NRW method, however the modification of this method has been proposed modification concerns the unwrapping the phase technique introduced to measured scattering parameters, allowing to obtain valued solution. The measurements were performed in the frequency rangę from 0.2 GHz to 10 GHz for four group of powders with di sizes. The obtained results show that the puherized nanocrystalline Finemet alby with particie size below 25 um possesses good shielding materiał at microwaves.
