Artykuł relacjonuje wstępną fazę implementacji autorskiej metody projektowania partycypacyjnego AdLS, w ramach której realizowane jest Centrum Lokalnej Społeczności w Bydgoszczy. Praca ma charakter ramy metodologicznej i odnosi się do ogólnych zagadnień teorii i praktyki partycypacji oraz jednostkowej, ale traktowanej jako generyczna, aplikacji. Znaczenie społecznej partycypacji, trudności w jej realizacji oraz szczególne aspekty planowania procesu projektowego są jej najistotniejszymi wątkami.

The article presents preliminary implementation phase of author’s participatory design method AdLS. The main goal of the implementation is to design the Center for Local Community in Bydgoszcz. This work focuses on providing the methodological framework as well as to refer particular issue of the project to the theory and the practice of participatory design. The application is approached as generic instead of being treated as unique. The meaning of social participation, difficulties in its implementation, and specific aspects of planning for architectural design process are the most significant topics.
