W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań prototypu powietrz\nego płaskiego pasywnego kolektora słonecznego. Kolektor o konstrukcji skrzynkowej o wymiarach 1,04 × 2,08 × 0,18 m (szer. x wys. x gł.) wykonany był z blachy aluminiowej. Do kolektora powietrze dopływało kanałem o średnicy 110 mm 0 długości 0,5 m. Kanał wypływu ogrzanego powietrza wykonano z rury o średnicy 130 mm i długości 0,5 m. Skrzynię kolektora zamknięto szybą solarną o grubości 3,2 mm. Badania prototypu przeprowadzono w warunkach laboratoryjnych przy konwekcyjnym przepływie powietrza przez skrzynię kolektora. Źródłem energii dostarczanej do kolektora były promienniki podczerwieni o zakresie natężenia promieniowania I = 0÷550 W/m2. Celem badań było wyznaczenie mocy cieplnej kolektora w zależności od natężenia promieniowania. W wyniku badań określono, że w warunkach maksymalnego natężenia promieniowania (I = 550 W/m2) średnia prędkość powietrza w kanale dolotowym wynosiła w = 1,0 m/s, objętościowe natężenie przepływu powietrza n = 28 m3/h, moc cieplna kolektora wynosiła Q = 474 W a sprawności konwersji energii η = 43%.

The results of experimental investigations on the prototype flat solar passive air collector are presented in this paper. The collector consists of an aluminium casing with dimensions 1.04 m (width) x 2.08 m (height) x 0.18 m (thickness). Air inlet for the collector is a circular channel with diameter djn = 110 mm and length of 0.5 m. The circular outlet channel's diameter is dout = 130 mm and its length equals 0.5 m. The prototype solar air collector is covered with solar glass, 3.2 mm thick. The study was performer on a laboratory set-up. Collector worked under regime of natural convection. Tests were performer for a range of I = 0÷550 W/m2. The air temperature increase, collector thermal power and its thermal efficiency were determined. It was found that at maximum irradiation (I = 550 W/m2), the air velocity was w = 1.0 m/s, volumetric flow rate of air V = 28 m3/h, and the corresponding heat output rate and thermal efficiency were Q = 474 W and η = 43%, respectively.
