PL

Podstawowym elementem świateł mijania jest granica światła i cienia. Służy ona do ustawiania świateł zarówno podczas badań laboratoryjnych, jak i podczas kontroli oraz regulacji eksploatacyjnej. Granica ta z jednej strony powstała jako naturalny element rozgraniczający jasny i ciemny obszar w tradycyjnych światłach mijania, z drugiej natomiast przypisano jej zasadniczą funkcję przy wzrokowym ustawianiu reflektorów. Jednak sposób, w jaki zdefiniowano tę granicę, był niedoskonały, a skutki, które spowodował, są znaczące w tym sensie, że jakość granicy ma fundamentalne znaczenie dla precyzji ustawienia, natomiast nawet takie ustawienie nie gwarantuje jeszcze optymalnego oświetlenia drogi i utrzymania olśnienia na akceptowalnym poziomie.

The basic element of dipped beam off headlights is the cut-off line. This line is used during laboratory and exploitation tests. It occurred as a natural differentiation element between light and dark beam in dipped headlights. Moreover, it plays a fundamental role in visual headlight adjustment. This definition is imperfect (however easy to understand) and thus causes many problems. The publication presents the analysis of the phenomena and properties of the cut-off line and their influence on road lighting, including the effect of glaring other drivers.
