The article presents a synthetic description of the phenomenon of electroadhesion, which arises as a result of connecting the appropriate voltage to two electrodes. The received effect is the electrostatic force that attracts small objects to the surface of the plate. The first chapter presents the concept of the shape of electroadhesive gripper. The second chapter describes the state of knowledge regarding the phenomenon of electroadhesion and presents practical application possibilities. The electroadhesive force is used in industry, but the phenomenon is still poorly understood.
