Abstrakty

Prowadzenie operacji militarnych w odległych zakątkach świata to także zderzenie żołnierzy z innym środowiskiem kulturowym. Sukces operacji w dużej mierze zależy od właściwych relacji wojsk z ludnością miejscową, a zatem jest wynikiem odpowiedniej komunikacji, mimo międzykulturowych różnic. Autorka wskazuje na doświadczenia, które powinny być lepiej wykorzystane w przygotowywaniu wojsk do tego typu działań.

Military operations in distant parts of the world also mean that soldiers often find themselves in different cultural environments. The operation's success depends to a great extent on proper relations between the troops and local people; in other words, it is a result of good communication regardless of cultural differences. The writer brings up those experiences that should be better exploited in the troops' preparation for this type of operations.
