Abstrakty
Acoustic spectra have been collected at 16 points at 2.5 m from the turbine exit. The turbine has two rotors with 96 blades and two stators with 16 blades. The nominal angular frequency was 2400 mm. The rotor blade passing frequency was recognized as well as some of its harmonics. Spurious signals could be also identified, due to the exit flow impact on the Schenck eddy-current brake placed on the turbine axis, and the upstream fan generating the working fluid to the turbine. Wall proximity could be also a problem. Improvements are suggested for future experiments.
