PL

W artykule określono czynniki wypychające w największych państwach Sahelu: Sudanie, Nigrze, Nigerii, Mali, Czadzie oraz Burkina Faso. Obywatele tych państw są ujawniani na wszystkich szlakach migracyjnych biegnących do UE, a także na nowym szlaku z Białorusi do Polski. Na podstawie analizy przypadków wskazano, że głównymi czynnikami wpływającymi na migrację w regionie Sahelu są słabości ekonomiczno-społeczne poszczególnych państw, skutkujące ich podatnością na kryzysy, brak bezpieczeństwa oraz niestabilność polityczna. Czynniki te nakładają się na siebie i są współzależne, co oznacza, że poprawa sytuacji wymagałaby działań kompleksowych. Z badań oraz analizy czynników przyciągających w innych regionach (np. w UE) wynika, że migracje ludności z państw Sahelu będą się zwiększały.

The article identifies the push factors in the largest Sahel states: Sudan, Niger, Nigeria, Mali, Chad and Burkina Faso. The citizens of these countries are being exposed on all migration routes leading to the EU, as well as on the new route from Belarus to Poland. Based on the case studies, it was indicated that the main factors influencing migration in the Sahel region are economic and social weaknesses of individual countries, making them vulnerable to crises, insecurity and political instability. These factors overlap and are interdependent, which means that the improvement of the situation would require comprehensive actions. Research and analysis of the pull factors in other regions (e.g. in the EU) show that the migration of people from the Sahel countries will increase.
