The paper presents the analysis of energy processes in technological systems of gas-steam power plant integrated with coal gasification (Integrated Coal Gasification Combined Cycle, IGCC). There are presented the mathematical models describing the behavior of main elements of the gas-steam power plant integrated with coal gasification, such as the gas generator, gas cooler, gas turbine block, heat recovery steam generator and steam turbine cycle. On the basis of the elaborated mathematical models and computer programme the simulation of the coal gasification process and the energy effectiveness gas-steam power plant integrated with coal gasification was done. The influence of coal gasification technology and gas turbine design parameters on the efficiency of electric energy generation was examined during the simulation.
