EN

Political situation in Chad and other Central African countries is hard to understand for most Europeans. It is not, however, about simple distinction between a government and rebels. The reality is much more complex, and has much to do with historical, tribal and family connections. Almost all Chadian and Sudanese rebel groups have their own political programs, structures and courses of action. The aim of this article is to explain a complexity of political power being held both, by the governments and by rebels in Chad and Sudan.
