Ze względu na brak możliwości budowy podpór w nurcie rzeki Eufrat (rzeka głębokości 90 m) zdecydowano się na zaprojektowanie mostu o konstrukcji podwieszonej, z przęsłem głównym rozpiętości 400 m. Stalowe przęsło główne jest podwieszone do dwóch pylonów o kształcie odwróconej litery Y, wysokości 103,826 m od podstawy fundamentu. Całkowita długość mostu wynosi 35 + 40 + 30 + 400 + 30 + 40 + 35 = 610 m. Most ma dwie rozdzielone jezdnie szerokości po 8,00 m oraz obustronne chodniki szerokości 1,40 m. Roboty rozpoczęto w styczniu 2012 r., termin zakończenia ustalono na październik 2014 r.

South Eastern Anatolia Region is one of the least developed areas of Turkey, that is why for many years there have been many investments which will contribute to the development of the area. One of them is the reconstruction of the road connecting the city of Adryaman and Diyarbakır. The aim of the road modernization is to widen it to two lanes in each direction and eliminate ferry connection through the construction of a bridge over the Euphrates River. The river in this place is up to 90 m deep, therefore a cable stayed bridge with a main span of 400 m was designed. The main span is made of steel and side spans are made of concrete. Total length of the bridge is 610 m. The article will present the project description and information from the bridge construction site, which began in January 2012 and will end in October 2014.
