Abstrakty

Autor podejmuje próbę naukowej analizy definiowania bezpieczeństwa w aspekcie współcześnie występujących konfliktów. Podkreśla zmiany w dotychczasowej interpretacji znaczenia przewagi ofensywy nad defensywą. Interpretowane jest też odwieczne dążenie do zakończenia prowadzenia polityki bezpieczeństwa za pomocą sił zbrojnych.

The article is an attempt to analyze definitions of security in the aspect of contemporary conflicts. The author emphasizes the changes in hitherto interpretations of the significance of the superiority of an offensive over a defensive. He further ponders over eternal striving for the end of the security policy's actions by means of the armed forces.
