W artykule omówiono technologię BIM - nowoczesny sposób projektowania w budownictwie w połączeniu z otwartym formatem wymiany danych IFC. Przedstawiono narzędzia informatyczne oraz zamieszczono przykład projektu więźby dachowej zrealizowany za pomocą tej technologii.

This article presents a new approach to design construction – BIM technology and its with open data exchange format IFC. In the article IT tools have been presented. In order to better illustrate the issues included in the article an example of the design of the roof truss realized with the help of BIM technology.
