W pracy przedstawiono wyniki badań procesu mieszania w trzech urządzeniach mieszających, w mieszalniku bębnowym, mieszalniku statycznym oraz podczas przesypywania materiału ziarnistego ze zbiornika do zbiornika. Do badań użyto niejednorodnych materiałów ziarnistych takich jak gorczyca, wyka i agalit. Uzyskane rezultaty badań procesu mieszania modelowano łańcuchem Markowa. Wyniki wskazują na duży wpływ początkowego położenia składników mieszaniny na czas mieszania i jakość uzyskiwanej mieszaniny.

In this paper the results of the investigations of mixing in three types of mixers, namely drum mixer, static mixer and during funnel flow from bin to bin has been presented. As the materials to be mixed the particles of white mustard, vetch and agalite has been used. The experimental data has been compared with the data obtained from the Markov chain model. The results show considerable effect of the initial position of the particles system components on the mixing time and the mixture quality
