W artykule dokonano analizy produkcji podstawowych surowców mineralnych w świecie i w Polsce w 2013 roku. Analizie poddano wybrane surowce z grupy metali i kamieni szlachetnych, wybrane surowce z grupy metali kolorowych, podstawowe surowce z grupy metali lekkich lub ich rud, podstawowe surowce z grupy metali staliwnych lub ich rud, surowce energetyczne - węgiel kamienny, węgiel brunatny, ropa naftowa i gaz ziemny, surowce nuklearne, wybrane surowce chemiczne oraz podstawowe surowce ogniotrwałe. Przedstawiono istotne zmiany w wielkości produkcji tych surowców w stosunku do 2012 roku u czołowych producentów.

The article analyzes the production of basic minerals in the World and in Poland in 2013. The analysis included the selected minerals from the group of metals and precious stones, selected minerals from the group of non-ferrous metals, basic raw minerals from the group of light metal or their ores, the main raw minerals from steel or their ores, energy minerals - hard coal, lignite, oil and natural gas, nuclear minerals, selected basic chemical raw minerals and refractory materials. The article presents the significant changes in the volume of production of these minerals in relation to 2012 among the leading producers.
