Problemem niedocenionym i niedostrzeganym do tej pory jest ruch turystyczny odbywający się w regionach przekształconych krajobrazowo i biotycznie, gdzie procesy antropogenne na ogół doprowadziły do zaniku naturalnych siedlisk i biocenoz. W artykule, na podstawie analizy danych statystycznych za 1995 rok określono wielkość standardowych parametrów charakteryzujących ruch turystyczny w odniesieniu do dwudziestu siedmiu obszarów zagrożenia ekologicznego (OZE) w Polsce. Uwzględnione zostały trzy parametry dostępne w sprawozdaniach statystycznych: obiekty noclegowe turystyki, liczba miejsc noclegowych oraz liczba osób korzystających z noclegów. Po analizie danych, autorka stwierdza, że mimo niesprzyjających przesłanek ekologicznych na terenach zagrożenia ekologicznego ograniczenie ruchu turystycznego jest niemożliwe, a w aspekcie istniejącego zaplecza technicznego, również niecelowe.

The important role of the areas of ecological threat in composing the national tourist movement in Poland has been shown in the paper. For the purpose three parameteres reflecting actual and potential possibilities of tourist movement development have been used: 1. the number of tourist lodging houses, 2. the number of tourist beds, 3. the quantity of tourist beds users. The parameters were calculated for all the 27 areas of ecological threat in Poland. Comparison of the above mentioned features with their nation-wide values enabled to estimate the size of tourism concentration within the areas of ecological threat. In the paper close relationship between the areas of protected nature and the areas of ecological threat was also indicated. The regions of high anthropopressure are usually the source of pollution which affects protected areas. It was found, from one side, that the areas of ecological threat hold rich amount of tourist infrastructure but, from the other side, the quantity of the infrastructure varies significantly within the examined areas. Covering 11,3% of the surface of Poland the areas of ecological threat include over 20% of the number of tourist lodging houses in Poland, 25% of seasonal and 33% of full year's tourist beds, and are being visited by 38% of nation-wide number of tourists. Because of well-developed tourist background in the areas of ecological | threat it is rather impossible to limit the intensity of tourist movement but definite activities j should be taken on to reduce the influence of anthropopressure.
