Przeprowadzono ocenę wpływu żużli ochronno-rafinujących, atmosfery ochronnej, zabiegów rafinacji i modyfikacji na strukturę i właściwości odlewów ze stopów magnezu. Wykonano badania wpływu zanieczyszczeń gazowych, niemetalicznych wtrąceń oraz zanieczyszczeń metalicznych na właściwości technologiczne, właściwości wytrzymałościowe i chemiczne, odlewów ze stopów magnezu.

Within the programme of research, the assessment of refining and protective effect of adopted fluxes, and the protective gaseous atmosphere. as well as influence of refining and inoculation processes on microstructure and casting properties was examined. The carried out research concerned also testing the influence of gaseous impurities combined with both metallic and non-metallic inclusions on technological, strength and chemical properties of magnesium based castings.
