Artykuł w skrótowej formie przedstawia wybrane elementy systemu ratownictwa morskiego sektora offshore. Przybliżona zostaje charakterystyka jednostek ratowniczych ERRV, ich zadań, wymagań jakie musza spełniać i wyposażenia, jako podstawowego elementu zabezpieczenia ratowniczego. Przedstawione zostały przykładowe elementy wyposażenia oraz klasyfikacja jednostek w zależności od możliwości podjęcia na pokład i udzielenia pomocy oraz schronienia odpowiedniej liczby rozbitków. Forma artykułu ogranicza autorów jedynie do poruszenia elementarnych aspektów zabezpieczenia ratowniczego w szeroko pojętym problemie zapewnienia bezpieczeństwa i ratowania życia ludzkiego w sektorze offshore.

This article in short form shows some elements of the maritime rescue in the offshore sector. The details of the Emergency Response and Rescue Vessel’s – ERRV – are presented; their tasks, requirements, equipment and rules it must to follow as the basic element of emergency response and rescue system. The classification of rescue vessels depending on equipment onboard and rescue abilities were presented as well. The form of the article straiten authors to raise the elementary aspects only of emergency response and rescue as the wider problem of ensuring the safety and rescue of human life in the offshore sector.
