Główne tezy artykułu stanowią materiał polemiczny wobec szeroko prezentowanego w mediach sukcesu niemieckiej transformacji energetycznej– „Energiewende”. Autor stawia pod znakiem zapytania forsowny system dopłat do energetyki odnawialnej, jak również koszty zdrowotne i ekologiczne szybkiego rozwoju elektrowni wiatrowych w Niemczech. Dyskutowane jest także zagadnienie ciągłości zasilania w systemie elektroenergetycznym wobec szybko rosnącej mocy zainstalowanej pochodzącej ze źródeł odnawialnych.

The main theses of the article constitute polemical material regarding the success of the German energy transition – “Energiewende”, widely presented in the media. The author questions the strenuous system of subsidies for renewable energy as well as the health and environmental costs of the rapid development of wind farms in Germany. The issue of continuity of supply in the power system is also discussed in view of the rapidly growing installed power coming from renewable sources.
