The article explores teaching methods for the history of garden art in landscape architecture at the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin. It highlights the importance of integrating theory with practice, using design tasks and sketchbooks to enhance students' analytical and design skills. Practical tasks, including freehand drawing, are emphasized for their role in deepening knowledge. The teacher's involvement is crucial in motivating and engaging students. The article also stresses the need to adapt education to modern technologies while preserving traditional techniques and methods.

Artykuł prezentuje metody nauczania historii sztuki ogrodowej na kierunku architektura krajobrazu, w oparciu na doświadczeniach z Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie. Autorka analizuje znaczenie łączenia teorii z praktyką, proponując aktywizujące formy nauczania, takie jak zadania projektowe i szkicowniki, które rozwijają umiejętności analityczne i projektowe studentów. Wskazuje na korzyści z wprowadzenia zadań praktycznych, które pogłębiają wiedzę i doskonalą umiejętności, w tym wykonywania rysunku odręcznego. Zaznaczono także konieczność dostosowania edukacji do nowych technologii przy jednoczesnym zachowaniu tradycyjnych technik i metod kształcenia.
