EN

The results of survey investigations driven in the years 1995-2001 are presented in this paper. Research objective was an impact assessment of green lands controlled drainage management on the water quality. Experiments conducted in Miekinia (next to Wroclaw) site, of an area of 720 ha, showed that a proper agricultural land use and complete application of the system exploitation guidelines have some influence the water quality improvement. Increasing of the non-productive agricultural land areas and water damming and range of conservation works limitation reduced water treatment efficiency in the drainage system.
