PL

The article presents a new method of making large-diameter wells in a waterlogged rock mass. It addresses the construction of drainage wells and drilling of geothermal wells. This new method consists in the use of hammer mechanisms known in opencast rock mining as DTH (Down The Hole) hammers. The advantages and disadvantages of using this method are given.
