Celem artykułu jest przybliżenie wyników badań dotyczących problematyki atrakcyjności przestrzeni zabawy i wskazanie najważniejszych warunków, by współczesny plac zabaw mógł być atrakcyjny dla swoich użytkowników. Jako metodę wykorzystano obserwację zachowania dzieci na placu zabaw Mercy-Bush Park Playground w Mountain View w Kalifornii.

The aim of this paper is to present the topic of a play area’s attractiveness and identify the key conditions for making a contemporary playground attractive to its users based on observations of children’s behaviour in the Mercy-Bush Park playground in Mountain View, California.
