Przedstawiono procedurę badań dwóch typów podłoży legowiskowych dla krów mlecznych w oborach wolnostanowiskowych z uwzględnieniem techniki filmowej. Na podstawie wyników filmowej rejestracji zachowania krów mlecznych określono zbiór wskaźników charakteryzujących preferencje zwierząt w zakresie badanych rozwiązań stanowisk legowiskowych.

A research method to carry out comparative analysis of two types of bedding on stalls for dairy cows kept in a cowshed with loose housing system was presented. Tasks performed by technical systems with film monitoring were emphasised in the method as well as the process of improvement of environmental conditions in the cowshed considered from the view-point of comfort created for cows on the stalls. On the basis of recorded data covering cows' behaviour, the selected graphs showing some aspects concerning utilisation of the stalls were analysed.
