The paper refers to threat assessment of dangerous goods in road transportation of the Republic of Poland. DGV can cause an accident and lead to fires, explosions and chemical poisoning or burning with considerable harm to people and the environment. There is not monitoring system in Poland to control in real time road transportation of dangerous goods. Consortium of Motor Transport Institute, Telecommunication Institute, Research Institute of Road & Bridges, ELTE and PIMCO intends to develop Project on model and demonstrator of National System of Monitoring Dangerous Goods Vehicles – NSMDGV. Realization of the planned tasks may significantly contribute to improving safety of people and environment.

Referat dotyczy oceny zagrożeń związanych z przewozem towarów niebezpiecznych transportem drogowym w Polsce. Pojazdy przewożące towary niebezpieczne mogą powodować wypadki, pożary, eksplozje, skażenie chemiczne oraz znaczne szkody dla ludzi oraz środowiska. W Polsce brak jest systemu monitorowania pojazdów przewożących towary niebezpieczne w czasie rzeczywistym. Konsorcjum w składzie: Instytut Transportu Samochodowego, Instytut Łączności, Instytut Badawczy Dróg i Mostów, ELTE oraz PIMCO zamierza zrealizować projekt modelu oraz demonstratora Krajowego Systemu Monitorowania Pojazdów Przewożących Towary Niebezpieczne – KSMPPTN. Realizacja zaplanowanych zdań może w znaczny sposób przyczynić się do: poprawy bezpieczeństwa ludzi i środowiska.
