The article describes the history of the use of geopolymers and the possibilities of their application in construction. It presents the most frequent ways of obtaining geocement binder and also provides a comparison of the composition and properties of geocement concrete with the composition and properties of traditional concrete. The article also indicates problems that hinder the development of this technology, as well as the prospects for its application in other industries.
