In the article, cradle to cradle approach, as the desired direction of changes in the management of resources in production processes, is discussed. The study based on the analysis of literature, action programs, and case studies. Attention has been focused on the development of cradle to cradle approach around the world. The research aimed to raise awareness of the importance of resource management so that waste generation would be eliminated from the manufacturing processes. Residues of consumption and production should be re-integrated into biological or technological circulation. Cradle to cradle approach means a revolutionary change in the approach to the organization of following processes: products and services design, production and distribution. It also extends the scope of responsibility of manufacturers and users, but at the same time gives a chance to reduce the negative impact on the environment and to create new job opportunities.
