Identification and analysis of problems occurring in implementation of sustainable logistics is a very crucial stage in the process of improving the functionality of all companies which decided to follow the sustainable development strategy. This conceptual process framework has been developed and successfully used within the frames of a project aimed at improving the logistics system of one of the Polish a float glass manufacturer. Problem identification and analysis tool of organization of sustainable transport and production processes developed within this project has been called Sustainable Transport System Virus Analysis (STVA). In this paper basic assumptions and methodology of the tool developed by the Authors have been included.
