W pracy podjęta została próba określenia poziomu aktualnej pozycji regionalnej Iranu na Bliskim Wschodzie poprzez pryzmat działalności Korpusu Strażników Rewolucji Islamskiej. Rozwój sytuacji geopolitycznej regionu wraz z licznymi problemami politycznymi stał się spoiwem dla tworzenia systemów zabezpieczeń stosowanych przez państwa regionu. Ponadto, wydarzenia zmieniające równowagę w regionie stają się elementem pobudzania działalności Iranu, który dostrzega w tym szanse nie tylko na zabezpieczenie własnej suwerenności, ale również na zwiększenie swojej roli w regionie. Podstawą tych działań jest chęć uzyskania zdolności do prowadzenia nieregularnych i niekonwencjonalnych działań zbrojnych. Punktem na mapie budowy tych zdolności jest Korpus Strażników Rewolucji Islamskiej wraz ze swoimi zróżnicowanymi oddziałami wewnętrznymi. Jest to kluczowa aktywność Iranu w ramach regionalnej wojny wpływów.

The aim of this article is to examine the current level of Iran’s regional position in the Middle East through the prism of the activities of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. The development of the geopolitical situation of the region, together with a number of political issues has become a bond for the development of security systems by major countries in the region. In addition, recent crisis and political issues changing balance in the region has become a part of stimulating activities of Iran. Iran sees the chance to secure its sovereignty and also the chance to increase its role in the region. The basis for these actions is the desire for the ability to conduct irregular and unconventional warfare. Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps with their internal diverse divisions is a point on the map in the construction of these capabilities. This is Iran’s main activity in order to development its regional influence war.
