The paper considers the sensivity problems of simulation calculations results on the quality of material data. The importance of mould thermal coefficients is proved and the new sequence of the influence would be then as follows: λ' > (c'⋅ρ') > c > L > ρ > λ. (λ, λ'-thermal conductivity, c, c'-specific heat, ρ, ρ'-density, L-latent heat, where ' – signifies a sand mould). In addition, the complex approach of the authors to the identification of material data and boundary conditions is discussed, in connection with the model validation.
