Abstrakty
The development of additive technologies made it possible to create in a short period of time prototypes for many different industries. Some branches including wood cutting tools have however their special demands. It is not enough only to visualize a new product, sometimes it has to pass at least some preliminary technological tests prior to decide if the novel product is promising and worth of additional investment or not. Despite the ABS is widely known material and has its mechanical parameters known, it is required to verify how does it behave in the form of printed structure. The goal of present research was to examine the tension stiffness and strength of the ABS specimens printed by a homemade 3-dimentional single jet printer working on the base of Fused Deposition Modeling technique.
