EN

In the article the process of globalization has been presented as an objective social phenomenon. Attention has been focused on the information society as an aspect of globalization. There have also been presented consequences of the development of the globalization and information technology for the international security. One of the consequences described in the article is a model of information warfare. The information security has been recognized as an element of national security.
