Abstrakty
Performance of polyurethane wood adhesives based on hyperbranched polyol bearing glucose core. In this paper synthesis of a hyperbranched polyglycerol containing glucose core and terminal hydroxyl functionalities as well as its application as a component of polyurethane adhesives were described. It was shown that an addition of long-chain components to the formulation was necessary for improved shear strength of the joints, since neat polyglycerol provided brittleness of the cured polyurethane.
