Abstrakty

The first part of the article introduces the requirements and tasks for the land forces aviation that have been defined in the NATO normative documents, such as Tactical Doctrine for Land Forces or regulations regarding a deployment of helicopters in land operations and air-maneuver operations. Next, the author characterizes a deployment of the land forces aviation in air-maneuver operations, where the primary condition for their effective conduct is full integration of helicopters with on-ground elements, i.e.: joint operation planning according to unified procedures, defining and maintaining close relations in commanding, and implementing tasks in the ways well known. Moreover, the article discusses the support of air-maneuver operations by assault helicopters, commanding rules and operation planning as well as the air space control rules.
