This work presents an example of multivalued logic equations and graphic structure of while discrete optimization of a gear pump after tooth root undercutting. The choice of exploitation parameters for a given pump construction decides about its maximum efficiency. It is possible to adopt a mono-criterion or a multi-criteria approach in order to optimize the pump efficiency.
