Rybalske oil field is located in Okhtyrskyi district in Sumy region. Exploitation of the field is carried out since 1958. At the stage of exploration and the initial stage of Rybalske field development difficult emergency situations like open fountains appeared while drilling wells No 5 (1966) and No 111 (1967).
