W artykule zostało przedstawione zastosowanie bezobsługowego systemu monitorowania do bieżącej kontroli stanu technicznego konstrukcji na podstawie wybranego obiektu mostowego.

Structural health monitoring systems are associated in Poland with the largest, monumental bridges. They were installed, among others, within the structures in Gdańsk [1], Płock [2], Puławy [3] and Wrocław [4, 5]. Their task is to analyze the response of non-standard structures, with above-average dimensions or innovative solutions [6]. These systems consist of a large number of different sensors, so their costs were significant. There is also a large group of bridges with small dimensions and standard structural solutions, but located within difficult ground conditions or in areas affected by mining operations. The application of automated, cost-effective and maintenance-free monitoring systems for the current control of the technical condition of structures is presented in the article based on the selected bridges.
